So yeah, friday night scammed my first account. I am really happy with the scam went well ect. It was the Ultimate scam, some of you guys may know this where you use the add-on for Firefox.

I have the account it is set for my email I know SQA and everything. It has been 6 days and he has not tried to get it back using recall I don't think. I told him that if you attempt to get it back Blizz will ban your IP because you changed the email from your address making you a pottential scammer. I think he fell for it rofl.

So now am I clear after what, 6 days of nothing just me playing the account? Cause I want to transfer it to a friends realm but want to double check it is 100% mine.

I would wait at least 2 weeks before even considering transfering the char.

You could transfer the char to another account, and after the transfer you could ban his account.

Hmm, is there any reason for this inparticular or is it just to be on the safe side?

Nah, actually it doesn't make a difference if you wait one or more weeks. I suppose he just wants to be safe. I suggest you create a new account and thransfer the toon to it. Get the old account banned and you are ready to go. Since he hasn't touched the account for that long I assume you will have a plenty of time to get a 72-hours suspension and a permaban after that.

Thanks Ridges, but to be honest I don't want to transfer due to it having 3 70's :/ I guess if I just wait for a week or two and nothing has happened I should be safe because he would have recalled by then for sure.

you wont need to wait tho, but you should definetly xfer, it just adds more security, and ban his old account,

eventually he will wanna play again, and can simply recall his account on the phone with blizzard,

but when they tell him it is banned, he will need to fax in ID, and once he does that, he will get on and see no character,

then he cant do anything about it, would of been to long in my opinion, if there is a problem with your character blizzard wants to know asap,

and wont give his char back, i know from experience, i lost my warlock

Just bare in mind a few things.

1. A lot of details on accounts are fake due to being botted. So they can't be reclaimed

2. The account might have been bought without the OO's ID, so they can't send that in.

3. To do PTR you need to use a credit card... Make sure it's not linked to any other accounts as if you're found to be the hacker Bliz will have your credit card on file and they can link it with other peoples. So just use a friends who doesn't play wow.
