i was wondering if anyone knew a way to use someone's ip to your advantage...

i kinda wanna "get back" at this guy who scammed me a while back cause i have his IP address

could you load a program that when you close it, it formats the C drive or something?

you CAN hack someone with just having their ip address...I tried reading ebooks on it but ya it didnt help lol

There's not much you can do with an IP other than get some of his information. If you're a pro hacker which I guess you're not as you asked this question you can do a few things, yeah, but that takes time to learn.

You could use script kiddie tools, however I don't think its worth the risk. I'm not a big fan of hacking others computers (especially with skiddiey).

I dont think its Illigal to hack into his computer like that. I've put one virus into a computer once that wiped his hard drive. Read an article online saying that its your computer, and if you let your IP address get out its your fault (it was accually 3 pages long but thats basicly what it said). Ohh yea and theres not really a way you can benifit by doing this (like getting his WOW account). Not going to say how though

It is illegal to hack into his computer. You can do alot of stuff with just his IP address if he has a bunch of open ports.

DoSing is illegal and not effective unless you distribute it between a few computers. A noob way to DoS is "ping 127.0.0.1 -t -l 1200". Replace 127.0.0.1 with the IP and 1200 with the amount of data. You can open it multiple times to increase the effectiveness of it.

P.S. All DoSing will get you is lagging their internet and possibly crashing them for a little while... along with a possibility of your ISP dropping you.

Yes its illegal. The computer belongs to him, not a company like Blizzard, and its destroying and spying on his property. Although if you do it right, you most likely will not be caught, I really don't think its worth the risk or the effort to do it. Hacking is bad mmmmkkkkaayyy.
