I know a way to get a free name change for a character, but the only catch is that it takes two people. I'm looking for someone to help me change the name of one of my characters, and for your help you will recieve the same in return. Post here or send me a PST.

Blizzard will automatically pick a name for you, you can't chose one unless you pay for it.

If you are using the transfer method, you can solo it.
If you are using a reporting method, this may fail ... alot

Blizzard will not auto pick a name for you, your name will be flagged for change the next time you try to log in, and you choose it

if u are going to try and have two chars named almost the same
GMs wont let u choose but instead they will only give u some crappy name

Not true. If your name is flagged all it does the next time you log in is require you to make a new name. I've done it a few times. It's just the same as creating a new toon with your old toon's name on a server you want to transfer to. Then when you transfer the old toon to the new server that has a level 1 with the same name, you will be prompted to change it once you try to actually log your transfered character into the game.

Basically you can do this to get a free name change with a server/account transfer on an account you just scammed, instead of paying for a transfer AND a name change.
