Because It's my firm belief that if you know nothing about reverse engineering you shouldn't be making bot/hacks. Also, most of us are kinda bored with the 3000th objectmanager thread. (the last one posted by ashlyww is hillarious and is truely an awesome work of copypasta code)
Also I doubt many hacks will sprout from this, other than the 9001th XYZ hack and ofcourse the hacks made possible by the addresses provided (SendChatMessage language protection for example)

Also, I disagree with your "fish" philosophy. And always have, and always will.
The essence of the matter is that people don't want to be taught to fish. They just want someone else to bring them the fish. Oh, if you would be so kind, tomorrow could you bring me the fish already cooked? And the day after that, would you bring two fish, see, as I have this "friend" that needs fish too. And later the next day, if you could also bring some nice potatoes with the fish, perhaps some steamed asparagus, and a little lemon squeezed on top, and if you wouldn't mind standing in the corner whilst I eat it, in case there is anything else I need, I'd appreciate it. What? This is not the ****ing fish I wanted you retard! Don't you know who I am? I'm an important fish eater and you work for me! You're my bitch! Now get out there and get me the steak I want rather than this muck you keep bringing me everyday.
Your fish philosophy is inherently flawed because it does not take in to account human nature and basic psychology. The quintessential essence of the philosophy is, "man does not want to be taught how to fish, he wants you to be his bitch and spoon feed him."  |

Heh, I don't think the ideas behind the "teach a man to fish" philosophy are flawed, on the contrary. I think that it's just hard to apply such a philosophy when most of the people you're trying to apply it to are self-entitled twats who think we're here to lick their boots and write their bots for them.

Overall though, the problem is not that we're evil *******s who want to keep everything private. The problem is that we're sick of dealing with the same basic questions over and over again from people who don't hold the required prerequisite knowledge to do what they're attempting.
You need to learn to walk before you try to run. The same applies in other areas. Without a solid understanding of the fundamentals all you're doing is wasting both your time, and the time of those you expect to help you.
Oh, in case you haven't notice, some of us don't exactly like our time being wasted in that manner.  |
