here is my conversation via email to blizzard about my permanent account closure, starting with the most recently sent message. The first message I sent them is all the way at the bottom.
"Thank you for your time and understanding of our position in this matter.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have."
What understanding? Who said I understand at all? I don't need your thanks after you guys just completely dicked over my achievements in the last 2 years of my life. Shouldn't you at least send a warning first, instead of going straight to a perma ban?
Now here is what I predict is going to happen. I am going to send this message to blizzard. Blizzard will take their sweet little time and take 3 maybe even 4 weeks to respond. When they do, it will be some random nerd who searches through automated messages to throw one back in my face, showing me the "SACRED WOW TERMS OF USE DOCTRINE" telling me what I violated.
The low lifes that have the jobs to search for this kind of **** is who I feel bad for. I am sorry that you guys have to spend your whole life trying to make other people's lives as miserable as yours. I guess I learned something from this afterall. Everyone from blizzard is a geek.

Dear, Account Management team, please please read through my message and
respond in manually written words and not automated! I can not stress enough how
much this means to me in my life, please help as much as you can! thanks =)
Thank you for responding, I didn't think I was going to get a response .
Before you skip to the end and send back an automated response, please read
through what I have to say, as it is very very important in my life and lives of
others. This is very hard for me to word and ask of, but I need some sympathy
from you guys regarding the status of my account =(. The program labeled a
"packet sniffer" was not used to gain an edge over any players, but I do sort of
understand why it might not be wanted. I have been a paying subscriber since the
game came out, and it has been a mojor part of my life. Something I can relate
to. Something I can socialize about with my friends. I spent my weekly earnings
on the activation and transfer of a friends account to my server so we could
play together. The day I did this, I was banned.
I am aware of cases in which players can get their account back, and I can not
say enough how much that would mean to me. I realize what I did could have been
against the terms of use, and would never dream of doing anything of such again.
I have spent a total of over 150 days of play time on all my characters, and the loss of this account and all these characters I put my time and money into would just be gone =(. I do'nt want to beg, but I do want you guys to find it in your heart to help me just one last time. Words cannot explain how appreciative I would be just for one more chance. I am more than willing to give any information you might need of me. Anything, please, I know you can help if you really want to, I will do anything!

Subject: World of Warcraft - Account Closure
***Notice of Account Closure***
Greetings,
Access to the World of Warcraft account --------, and any World of Warcraft account associated with the payment information you have provided, has been permanently disabled. The account has been identified as having used unauthorized game modifications and thus is in violation of the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. The recurring subscription on the account has been disabled to prevent further charges.
Please review the World of Warcraft Terms of Use at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ],
which you accepted when you installed World of Warcraft and established the account(s). Section 2, Paragraph C details the limitations of game play
modifications and use of any third-party or "packet sniffing" software. In
addition, Section 3, Paragraph C, parts iii and iv restrict the use of any hack, scripting or macroing software which obtains information from World of Warcraft to gain a competitive advantage over other players.
Furthermore, any activities not intended by game design which affect the
economy, the client, player characters or the world itself have a tremendous
negative impact on the potential enjoyment for all players. The effects of
these activities take many forms including a bloated game economy, server
instability, and allowing unauthorized access to accounts, computers, and player data.
As a result, the account(s) will no longer be accessible and will unfortunately
not be reopened under any circumstances.
Any disputes or questions concerning this account action can only be addressed by Account Administration. To learn more about how Account Administration is able to assist you, please visit us at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
Thank you for your understanding in this matter and respecting our position and all statutes within the World of Warcraft Terms of Use.

Subject: Account Closure
Dear Blizzard Representative,
Yesterday around 7:30 I tried to log on to World of Warcraft using my account "Jtzurek." I couldn't because it claimed my account has been closed. I have not done anything at all recently. I have however recieved a temporary ban in the past, but I have already done my time for that and have never used an undesirable third party program again. I feel I may have received this message in error, and would like an update as to why my account has been permanetly banned.
I have not recieved any email or information as to why my account has been
closed. I would do anything to get my account back, please have some sympathy! The support line for blizzard is always busy, and I cannot contact blizzard through it. I got banned on the most exciting day of WoW, and I don't know why =(
I would really like to try out the new talents for my rogue who I have spent 80 days of play time on. Please help to reactivate my account! Thanks,
-(myname)

So you hacked, got caught, got banned, and now you're taking your anger out on Blizzard because they want to keep the game controlled and fair for everyone.
· Willingly shared their account information with
others
· Allowed others to access their account
Details: After a thorough investigation, we have found that the
registered user of the account has shared account login information and
allowed others to access the account.
The actions detailed above have been deemed inappropriate for World of
Warcraft by the Support staff of Blizzard Entertainment. This World of
Warcraft account has now been closed by the Account Administration
staff based on review of all account infractions incurred. The recurring
subscription on the account has been disabled to prevent further
charges. This action has been taken in accordance to our Terms of Use
([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]) and our game
policies ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]). The bottom
line is that we want World of Warcraft to be a fun and safe environment

Just got it like 10 mins after I replied to yours :\
Blizzard is a Big heartless company. Heartless companies dont have sympathy for one customer if the majority of the other customers are happy. Who cares if they lose 15$ a month from one customer when they are making 8 million times that from other customers?
And that is the view Blizzard has, they just try to keep the majority happy.
plus i went on their forums and most posts are about ppl using bots and hacks an people are a little extreme about it, here are some quotes:
" Hello Blizzard,
I would like to make a complant about your GM's.
For the past few days i have seen a botter in the same area (im just gonna cut out the lengthy description about the botter). If this is not delt with i will cancel my account." - Thats a bit extreme.
"the battlegrounds have gotten way to many people anti afk botting, and i want this delt with, thats, in my eyes, why the honor point gain is going down." -thats the thread starter lets see later down
"yeah i report every one who is idle for 20 seconds." - WoW, thats just stupid.
in short, ppl cant tolerat hackers cause ppl who hack make them feel like undermined players.
GL getting your account back! from all of us at mmowned!

Re: My ban conversation with Blizzard
Unfortunately it's not looking good to get your account back. Like it or not, we play in their world. They are the ones who set the rules and not us. If they see a bot or something that's giving you an unfair advantage then they have every right to ban you permanently. Depending on the bot it's hard to claim ignorance and that you didn't know what you were doing.
Best of luck to you in getting your account back but it seems like you've hit a brick wall with a big ole' Blizzard logo on it.
so our saying that your getting in toruble for using a "sniffer"? if so ask them of what programme you were using. " if they say (programme name)" then say in what way shape or form does this lead to a HUGE advantage to yourself and in what way does it create a HUGE discomfort for other players and "TREAMENDOUSLY" ruin their enjoyment.
p.s give me details on programme you used and what it does =) i be able to get you your accoutn abck i know the right words to say re-post here hope i can furthly help you, i know this sounds "geeky" but i will search their T+C's etc etc message their admins etc about rules with programmes and what "punishment" would go against your account for it, i might become a lawyer when im older also im 14 atm
