easy way to power level a friend?

i finally talked my friend into playing again. I'm looking for a way to help PL him.

Use to, players could tag a mob and a high lvl 1 shot it, but for some reason, when we are trying this, he only gets 1/2 xp or less.

just push him through some instances. with the gear he gets he can go and level pretty well. =)

oh and other things. push him through elite quests, as well he should look which quests he can get before u push him through instances = mass exp for free, with free loot.
