Someone on a certain trading website posted a very interesting scam, warning others about it, and he actually copied and pasted the old red text "This is property of MMOwned.com" or whatever it says before you make a thread in the Scams section. I thought it was interesting, so I checked the site and, lo and behold, I found some awesome information. Scams, Exploits, Hacks, great Exploration videos and screenshots, and overall an awesome community. I joined about a week later.

I was a leecher for a while, thinking of nothing to contribute, and sort of laid low for a long time. I hadn't checked the site in a while and spent a lot of time on the WoW US Customer Service Forums.

Many months later, I came back to the site with a lot of knowledge about Blizzard policy and thought I could contribute in some way using my knowledge. I made some helpful posts here and there, and eventually started my advice service, upgraded it to more of an unbanning service, and then wrote up my guide.

i first visited this site because i was getting started on scamming. Then i saw what a wonderful community this was, not only on scams, but also on model editing, exploring, emulation, hacks and exploits (and other non-wow related stuff).
I started contributing with what i could, and I rapidly achieved Contributor status.
Now i can scam nearly anything i want, and i owe it all to this community

I Came to this site by using google, i was looking for some scams, and i found an interesting one at this lovely site, Read it and forgot about the site. then a few months later, i needed a scam again, so i registered this time, but not posting, nor leaching (Just the first one :P) Then i logged on once and got the warning that my user might get deleted if i didn't post too soon, so i started posting, and enjoying this awesome communety, now a graphics section addict

I came to find some nice Model Edits and such, and I'm learning how to make my own now.

I did join a while ago, and forgot a bout the site but I found my way back and hoping to stay for a while.

I joined MMOwned.com to pillage and rape. Mostly rape. Oh and also because I fail at making my own model edits/hacks, and leave it for the cool kids to do. While I leech. Yea..well...I posted a few things that people were like "zomg thats totally kewl i gief j00 rep." Any ways. I just want to mooch off of you and get a glider key. So..I love you? And...I want your babies. Or you can have mine..we'll figure something out.

I join this site because i was playing private server. Then i thought hmmm I should make my own private server so i search everywhere and then boom this site come along and now what do you know?? This site is like the best i have ever been to.. Wowps.org Sucks. Lol they dont even have that much people like this fourm. Glad this came along because i would of never made a private server and never knew about hack either ^_^

I joined this site because at the time, I had first heard of emu servers, and was very determined to make one. I searched all over google, having trouble finding sites that would detail how to make one. I came across a few, but I somehow ran into MMOwned, found it wonderful and stayed. Made my emu server then moved on to contribute to the rest of the site

I was on vent with my guild when someone came into the channel screaming "MMOWNED!!!! MMOWNED!!!!"

I couldn't stop laughing and wanted to do dumbass funny stuff like this at the time so I googled "MMOWED" and got this...Not what I expected Taught it was some Anti-MMO site before I saw it

Well, I had been looking in google for "WoW Hacks." Many different sites came up: d3scene & hackingsource included. HS cost money to get to the good stuff, so I automatically ruled out joining there.

D3scene was my next option, so I browsed around there a few days. I thought it was okay, but was not for me. I didn't like the layout of the site and it was rather unorganized. I was kinda disappointed I couldn't find any good sites...

Then I came across MMOwned. I looked around there for a day; I liked the layout, neat, organized sections, good mods/supermods/admins, so I decided this would be my "home" so to speak.

The place I was most interested in was the scamming section. I had already had a scam idea in my head, so I made a thread to share it with people. I have learned much, and contributed much to that section since then.

WoW was realllly getting boring to me. All I did was get into hyjal after raids and sit in there. So one day, I heard of this mysterious "Dancing Troll Village." I fired up ye olde google... and on the second page of results, I saw a good post on how to get in there on the explorations section.

After I made it to the troll village, I thought "Hmmz this site looks pretty cool actually." So, I came back and have been trolling since.

Ive learned a lot of valuable information, and I have actually made 85$ this week from some of the stuff that Ive picked up from the site.

I joined cuz i was ripped in a trade scam and just plan tired of freaking farming for gold and crap so i said screw it searched google for scams for about an hour came across this kick ass site registered and been here since 2006 and never have less then 2k gold on me Mmowned.com for ever!

the reason why i joined is because 1 year ago ( not a joke ) I was pretty newb.I was searching for a hack in to instant be level 60 hehe. So i went to my best friend, google, and ask him when to get hack in wow. And the page of mmowned.com came up. Tbh, I was like : WTF is this site. I started to read and I wasnt understand something. ( I never taught ill be contributor at this time). So i was ready, like as lazy leecher should do . And started to understand whats hax, scam and yes, I still dont understand model edit :P
