Exploiting the economy?

My friend just sent gold from one of his accounts to another one of his accounts, 1 was in his name and the other 1 was in a fake name , however he owned both of them. He sent around 3kg and his accoount as it seems in perma-banned, his question is that if he can get the banned account back.

back in the day when you could dupe gold by crashing instances everyone got away with it.. but now everytime gold is sent they can monitor it. most likely you cant get unbanned unless you did it on a seperate IP and can pretend the account was hacked.

Although, Matt is correct. Unless your friend duped on an IP that is not normally used on the account, the follow-up investigation would yield nothing to help your friend.

But, if he did NOT dupe or break any other rules, then I can certainly help you. Blizzard has mistakenly banned people for transfering large amounts of gold before.

I find it ironic that an MMOwned member got banned by mistake, instead of for actually doing something against the rules. =p
