God Mode

Basically I wish to retain my paid subscription to WoW so I can continue to raid with my SSC/TK guild, but I also want a account on my own separate private server that I can give myself 1billion HP, and infinite mana regen etc so I can do fun stuff like solo Naxx and BT and whatnot basically in God Mode. I found this guide for "Easy WoW Private Server for WoW 2.3.0 on the Reaper-X website and I have some questions.

1. Will this private server run just like normal WoW and can I make fun changes on this server to my abilities and give myself all kinds of epic and create GM items?

2. By following the steps in the aformentioned tutorial will I have to reinstall a second copy of WoW in a seprate directory so that Blizz cant find out that I have a private server running?

Well here is your answers mate..

1. Yes, it is just like normal wow, except you OWN it. And you can create your own GM Items and other things and also give yourself any spell, pet, basically anything in the game. Maybe you will even start developing your own private server one day and becoming big, hehe.

2. You do not have to install a second wow, just keep your normal one, I have been running one for donkeys years and blizzard have not found out. All you need to do is change your realmlist in your wow directory.

There is no god mode hack for official servers, and for private servers you can use GM commands (.invincible for Antrix IIRC, not sure).

Raiding solo on private servers isn't fun because bosses are badly scripted. It's cool to instance once to see the environment, but nothing more.

so i found the commands, basically I couldnt figure ou thow to type in the commands i wanted to perform. Took me a min to realize that I just had to "say" the commands . ie: type in guild chat ".modify hp 500000000" or ".additemset xxx"
