Help with FRAPS?

K, Well whenever I run FRAPS, and I start to record, my FPS drops.. A LOT then I click F12 (my hotkey to record) to turn it off again and it is fine. Are there any settings I can change to make it record smoothly?

You will notice an FPS drop because of the ram taken to use the program and actually record. However, upping the recording FPS may help. If you've got an uber machine, try 60fps, if not, try running it at around 20-25ish fps. The game will run smoothly then and the movie will be watchable.
