After watching partway through Tales of the Past 3, there was a mention of the Emerald Dream.
The quote is "This place is what Azeroth would have become had it not been for our interference."
Therefore you can conclude that if the Emerald Dream were to be released as an instance, it would be similiar to the CoT.
This would be nice to see, let's hope.

But then I realized. Do you not need BC to get to 70 to access Northrend Content?
Anyways, back on topic, that sounds like it could be right. The only reason I thought of it being an instance/raid was back when there was the PTR with the /worldport glitch. Upon teleporting into Emerald Dream it gave the message mentioning that it was a raid instance and when it was due to reset. |

Reputation: 217 Level up: 59%, 207 Points needed | | | Hm, that's actually very interesting. If you need TBC to get to 70 to get to Northrend, or can you just buy WotLK and get to 80 and not need TBC.
On topic: Emerald Dream is what the Warcraft World would look like if the races of man/whatever did not exist.
It would interesting to have ED be a zone in future WoW, especially as it has been a heated topic for a while

60, you'd get owned there. |

Now OT: I also think Emerald Dream will be a continent for an expansion. But im 90% sure you will enter them from Azeroth.
Ever seen the Portals in Duskwood, Hinterlands, Feralas aannd....uhm...was there are forth portal? Anyway....these Portal are guarded by Dragons and the history says they are the portals to Emerald Dream. It's like when Kazzak guarded the DP and once BC came out he became a world raid boss.
The same will be with the dragons I think. Once ED is released they will wait for you inside Emerald Dream.

Sry.. but plz post a link to wherever a blizzard employee stated that the Emerald Dream is going to be part of the new expansion pack Wrath of the Lich King. |
