Well, basically I was given an account by someone who was "bored of wow" he gave me the account/pass, and his first/last name. The secret question was said to be "forgotten"
But today while playing the character that was on the account when I got it (lower level) I received a message from some anonymous person saying that the one who gave me the account planned to take it back once I reached 70 by using the secret question. It sucks, because I bought BC for the account and such, and am paying the subscription.
How can I prevent this? (Note: The email is still registered to him)

Looks like you got kinda pwned...
You can not prevent this unless you somehow convince him to give you the secret question, email change, and possibly they key...

I kind of want to keep it lol. Ill just sell it like you said, 65 bucks, (to pay for a new battle chest and character transfer) I also leveled a bloodelf paladin on that account to 24 in about a day.

see if that email isnt in use by trying to create it, that worked for me
