I am so freakin tired of people posting crap like this. Nobody on the face of this earth plays WoW 24/7. Sometimes even posting a better more up to date guide will get you rep. Since WoW is always getting new patches.

For me, my big rep maker was the Azshara Crater guide. A lot of people didn't know how to add it to their server, few people did. I was one of the people that did, so I decided to contribute.

Figure out a problem that people are having. Make a theory. Test your theory. If it works, post it.

I find it funny you guys cry about all these leachers. Sure it sucks, but nothing can be done. It's not like you can delete/ban all the leechers, then there's no room for new people, and no room for growth. Stop bitchin' about it and suck it up. They're here, they aint' going anywhere.

LOL and I find it funny that people cry about people crying about being a leecher. True, some (about 1/2 I'm guessing) try to get out of the group, and the other 1/2 just don't give 2 shits.

And yet people still try.

That's what this thread is about. People bitching about being in this 'leecher' group.

I used to be in it, and to me it was a slap in my face.

Why? Because I do contribute. I used to be in that group. I never helped in the 'GFX' section (which is totally unrelated to MMOwned, but whatever) or the Emulation section, but I still offered options/opinions to threads posted. Hell, I even posted some ideas for future scams/exploits. But I was never recognized for it.

It's not like it matters. Only experts/donators are really recognized for anything on this site anyways.

The 'leecher' section was mainly to weed out the idiots, and to attempt to segregate others who simply don't have the ability to contribute as much as certain others.

It's funny, really. You see a new thread, even one that's a repost.

If you see it made by a person who's a 'higher-up' and it's treated with 's and positive comments. Yet you see one that's made by a 'leecher' and it's regarded as trash and they are flamed for it.

It's sad really.

Actually, this sounds like an amazing idea. Offering a service of taking people to certain exploration areas.

TBH, I just hate leechers. Sure we all started out as leechers, but as some know there are leechers that are here for 3-5 months but still haven't contributed. I don't know if this is a idea, but maybe it's an idea to make some ranks for lazy leechers. For example, we now have lazy leecher rank 1, that is that you haven't contributed anything in 1 month. That's sort of a warning.

The next one is super lazy leecher, and that is that you haven't contributed for 2 months. That means that you can't watch for example 10 topics a day.

And the third one, is Banned lazy leecher. That is that you haven't contributed for 3 months and that just means that you are auto banned.

I don't know if it's possible or not, or if it is a good idea, but seriously, everyone plays wow (what would be the first reason why you came here?) and I think that everyone can contribute anything what he/she can.

The reason why I hate leechers is because they can download everything here for free, and doing nothing for in return...

I like that idea. Although I have no idea the coding involved, however. In theory it sounds like a pretty good idea.

For the other method to not be a lazy leecher. How the hell can I contribute something if everything already has been done before?

This whole "lazy leecher" idea is just wrong. Plain wrong. "Lazy leechers" are treated like absolute crap here when some of them just want to help. All these ideas about banning leechers are just sick. Some leechers (Like me) want to help but have nothing they can contribute. Not everyone is good at WoW, not everyone can make sigs and avatars, not everyone can spend hours searching for exploits or thinking up new scams. People shouldn't be judged by a title under their username, but by what sort of person they really are. It shouldn't matter if your a leecher or a contributor, all of us should be treated equally. Well, except for the leechers that just don't care about contributing anything.
