My friend recently (as in since the last patch) bought a copy of the EU version of WoW and is trying desperatly to find a way to play on the US servers so she can join us. She's tried this fix but somehow it is not working.

I've been trying to tweak it myself but using the search feature keeps pointing me back to threads just like this one. I have used the search feature and nobody has mentioned that it might have been broken in the last patch. As this is all I can find, I thought it best to ask incase anyone else has run into a similar problem with the universal workaround.
Can anyone confirm that this is
not broken since the last patch?
Or was it just user error on her side and I should have her mail me her wtf folder and edit it myself?
