I remember a post awhile ago about how to change your WoW name. Something about makeing a temp free website about how your name was A gastation robbing gang.

If anybody know's how to change your WoW name or where this post is (Please don't flame me OMFG SEARCH NUBZ) I tried. It doesn't come up so most likely i can't remember the Keywords.

Any help would make me your love monkey for age's

Sadly, you cannot change your wow name unless it is against the rules. Some people will say deleting character and going on a friends account and making a toon with same name, but it doesnt work, once you restore it the toon on your friends account is changed. Sorry =(

The only way I know these days is to transfer a chara to a different servers, Make a lvl one on the server before hand with your name.

Not the best way admittedly...But it works

I know I know. Pick ME!

Contact a GM and tell them that a person with a name similar to your bought gold and now Chinese people are hassling you in game by saying they want you to come back and they will give you deals.

Say it happens daily. I try to report them but they always delete their accounts. And ask if you could get your name changed to get rid of the annoying people ..

They will probably end up saying. We are sorry but we can't find that whisper or something. Say it happens like every weekend. Then go on another account (and write a letter or have a friend be on one of them) and spam your account giving offers and shit and have it say hey, yournamehere + like a couple of letters we have a new offer at blahblahsite.com. Then repetition a gm. And tell them.

I never tried it but it seems like it would work.

Not true.

I had a friend that changed his because too many people knew him.

I think it depends on the gm.

Tried that. Tried to restore a character after months of him being deleted, and wanted to change his name. So I made a lvl 1 char on the same acct with the same name. All they did was change the name of the lvl 1 char with a 'y' at the end.

All depends on the GM you're dealin with.
