Transferring a Botted Alt to a Main Account

I recently re-rolled on a server to play with some real life friends. I rolled a warrior, but I miss having a 70 mage as sort of a sugar daddy character. Anyway, I was thinking of the prospect of botting a mage (on a new account) to 60 then leveling it by hand to 70 and finally transferring it back to my main account.

My question is, how safe is this? I do not want to risk my main account. For the most part the botting would be happening on a computer at a different location with a completely different ip. I would be paying for the bot account with game cards, etc.

Any things I should look out for/suggestions?

It seems to be safe as far as i know o.0. Except there could be a possibility that they trace/follow that char. to your main account... So, you should wait a bit for more answers, as this is just my assumption

But if your maybe lil' paranoid [ like me :P ] :

you can just bot the [new acc. ] char to 60/70 what ever and wait for a few days to see if your red flagged or not.
If you don't want to wait you can try like..
Go to blizzard and say that you went away for a while and think that your acc. might have been compromised / use by some1 you know, without permission. and just ask if your red flagged or not

you can only transfer the character if the acct info are the same.
Blizzard has been know for banning accounts where the info is the same, including 5 of mine /waves fist

I did a transfer where only the e-mail adresses looked alike, well and the same b-days :P
But.. that was my ONE transfer ever :s so..

Thanks for the tips/advice.

What I was planning on doing was taking one of my extra computers to the college where I work and letting it bot from my office. That way, if Blizzard asks, I can say that I was away from home at college and started a new account (hence the same names). That could also work into the 'scam' that Zyroxz was talking about, I could claim that my roommate had hacked into my computer and wanted to make sure he didn't do anything inappropriate with my account.

While not foolproof, it seems like the closest thing you could get. Before I go forward I just wanted to use you fine scammers/botters/hackers to bounce my ideas off of.
