Reputation: 34 Level up: 97%, 18 Points needed | | | | Hi, my name is... Hey people !
Hi, I'm new here I know it's not wise to start with a question, but I seek help and a buddy of mine told me this was a really good place to start
So, my question :
I have "acquired" all the Info I need to take over an account.
I have the password of both his WoW account and the Hotmail that he uses for his WoW.
But here is my question, Wat do I do ? I mean, I'm new with WoW scamming and I do not know what kind of measures the old owner of the account can take to "retake" his or her account. Or how Blizzard can find out who stole the account and what kind of stuff Blizzard can legally use to "track" someone down if they suspect anything ?
I was planning on either using the acc, or sell everything and trade it or something I wouldn't know aht to do cause I don't know what Blizzard can do, or the previous owner
I have found posts about account scamming, but I had a few Q's of my own
Sorry, hope I didn't ruin my brand new Newbie flag
Thanks in advanced !

2. accept the change in his email.
3. change the pass.
4. change the phone number etc etc.
The only way he can get his account back is if he still has his CD key at this point and calls blizz.
Btw scamming isn't nice
But with the information you have you can be pretty darn sure he won't take it back but you can't be 100% until you have the CD key. |

Why do I have to change the email/personal info in his wow acc when I can take over the email that is already registerd in his wowacc. ?
I mean, wouldn't blizzard be a little suspicious when all of sudden all his info changes and after a day or 2 he calls and says he got scammed ? Can't blizzard see if the info has been changed ?
.. maybe it's just me being period like, can't they trace IP adresses or find out wich bank account the money has been sent too if I would sell the WoW account ? 2nd CDkey
Thats just it, I changed his pass once so that he would contact blizzard with his hotmail acc.
and in order for blizz to change his pass for him he needs to send all of his Info to them, including his WoW CDkey.
So I got his CDkey 2 But I don't know what to do, if he calls blizz he also has the key :s I mean.. :s how can I change the cd key so that he can't retake the account ?

I think I do have his normal WoW key being it that he had to verify his account when I changed his password to gethis CD-key |

Reputation: 74 | | | Re: Hi, my name is... Change the email, he can still get his old email back by 'I forgot my password' thing. In some cases, blizzard are stupid. Just change the email, phone number and address.
He will call up, say his account got hacked. And most likely won't have his original CD key on him. In that point, they cannot do anything nor can he. How can they know that he isnt just a scammer himself?
hope it helped.
