Question - Does blizz actively ban by IP - MMOwned - World of Warcraft Exploits, Hacks, Bots and Guides

i was thinking of messing around with a bot on a separate account but im worried about blizz wielding the ban hammer on my IP, do they ban by IP or only by account?

No. They don't ban by IP. I know that for a fact or I would've had twice the amount of banned botting accounts than I have currently.

Good to know, I have a similar question tho. I used my cc to pay for my boyfriend's account once, hes used prepaid ever since. So if I get banned, will he get banned to? Even tho he doesn't use my card these days? Or is it only current payment history?

I am not sure that they ban by CC if anything it is by E-mail and Name. Your CC is confidential therefor they in theory couldn't.

If they did ban your IP, loads of customers will complaint or leave WoW because there a many WoW players who play in Internet cafes. So if they ban the Internet Cafe's IP, many customers will be unable to play and get pissed off if you know what i mean.

I have used the same email for 8 accounts 6 banned still nothing =D.

its funny because i did the "I forgot my account name" thing and typed in my email and i got an email from blizzard with about 25 account names.
