Alright, I've read as many posts as I could find, preferably the more recent ones.
I'd really appreciate it if someone could offer some more information on selling gold? I'm in need of a little extra money, and this seems to be the best way to do it for now. What I've read so far told me MMOsys, mogoldsale.com, playerauctions ect were legitimate (varied).
Does anyone have some personal experience they can share as well as their place of choice?
I also read someone claiming they got banned after selling gold, which sounded a bit odd to me. I've been buying gold for a few years, not HUGE amounts, but decent. Never been banned or warned. Been model editing and using teh hax, also nothing as of yet...

Sales to customers directly might work if one could avoid a ban, but there's no info anywhere on these forums or anywhere else I've seen on how to reliably avoid such, a question nobody ever even seems to ask or study. (Such is weird; I know many people here just get their gold by scamming and thus don't care if the account gets banned after sale, but surely some people acquire it by other methods like my auction house trading and would care?).
So it'd be pretty risky if you had a lot to sell and got banned after selling the first small fraction while waiting for more customers. If you had enough money and time, you might be able to yourself determine what results in bans by trial and error.
I know myself, in my experience:
- Selling by guild bank deposit to company = always banned afterward
- Selling by face-to-face trade to company = always banned afterward, except one time when I sold only a mere 2000g on a single realm and never was banned
- Selling to some regular U.S.-IP-address individual player = unknown, not tried yet

I have within the past couple weeks sold over 14k in gold to MMosys well half of that I sold and the other half I traded for a game time card. They are probably one of the better companies I have sold to. They pick up the gold right away one transaction was a GBank the otherone i had to meet their person somewhere. After the gold was delivered they payed within 10 minutes same with the time card got the code within 5 minutes.
I have traded gold for a long time now and not gotten banned but there is always a risk you just cant be stupid about doing it. If you decide to sell your gold to make some extra bucks i would definatly recommend mmosys they are really good and havent heard anything bad about them yet. I'm looking to do the same you do Phospher, gold for some game time cards. I've heard of a few people doing that now. Really not in it for the money.
I just don't want to get my main banned since it's my only account. After reading everything I've found on this forum it almost feels using my hacks are safer than selling gold rofl!
Thus far it looks like selling to a company is safer. Anyone know of how you go about offering gold for time cards?
well if you wanna go through a company to offer gold for time cards you can go to MMosys' website and contact their person on MSN just tell them you are looking to trade gold for time cards or if u want cd keys or whatever and they will tell you how much gold they cost on your server and yada yada. That is what I did to get started with them. Best of luck to you.

You get banned if you deposit to company's gbank, or f2f with lvl1 sw/ratchet w/e, usually 2-3 day.
You dont get banned if they withdraw the money from your gbank (they never do this, or at half price, or just getting some reason why not do this)
So, all you can do is to have a fresh account loaded with 1month gametime, bought with vcc in blizzstore...only thing you cant just sell 15k, cause its not worth it. Farm up to 100k, then sell it, or even on more servers, more accounts, they never ban the account that has the gbank, and invites the level1 (your trader account).

I've bought gold for awhile, usually in small portions 1k-5k, no issues yet. It's always been from some level 1 in ratchet. When I do the trade I throw some items in it cause it makes me feel better. Some place I bought from had told me to do that a long time ago, not sure if it really makes a difference.
The problem with opening a new account is simply that I can't. Don't have the money sadly...I also do not have 100k haha. It seems it would be a bit suspicious to open a new account with a level 1 and a gbank. Especially with a large amount like that. Wouldn't it still be tied to my ip? Also the fact that I traded all that gold to it would be kinda obvious. Just seems like smaller amounts are less suspicious but I'm only guessing.
Oh just thought if something. I'm in a fairly big raiding guild. What if I deposit the gold to the guild and have the GM invite an alt with withdraw limits or something along those lines? How do you think that would work out?

Forgot to write yeh, your ips must differ or this stuff not works, so you need at least 2 pc, one for the "farmer acc" that makes the gbank, loads it with stuff, sells the mats, then deposits the gold. other pc (to be able to invite the lvl1 on it) other ip (proxy or vpn).
if i were you i wouldnt risk my gms account lol. Well selling low amounts of gold for ppl just doable trough ah with buying overpriced epics or something. i never listed junk stuff on the ah when i traded like that, but chinise dont like that version either. somehow you need a junk acc that you can drop, if you trade much gold it gets banned. the lvl1 just used for trading from your farmer to the chinise f2f or by deposit, you dont use that for anything else, thats what gets covered with a new ip.
I have asked quite a few of the live chat people what is the risk of being banned for being in connection to them. Oddly, they were truthful and said the risk is pretty high.
