OK, All Day to day I've been hard at work, making a what you could call a application phisher, like the name suggests it looks like the real deal but in actual fact it's job is to steal your login info.

Looks almost real doesn't it? i haven't fully finished it yet so it will look a bit better once its done. So yes i started out yesterday with virtual basic 2008 and No knowledge of VB, however it has a very nifty feature that allows you to browser web pages via the app's window, Finally i could play to my strength which is HTML.
So all that you see is actually a web page. I really wanted to crack on with the transparent text boxes before anything else, So for now the background to the app is a still .png image, however i have plans to record the wow.exe background and convert it into a .swf file and embedd it in to my web page.

Oconline:: about the realmlist thing, do you mean..basically a packet forwarder? Like..you trick them into changing their realmlist (or use program to change) and then when they think they're loggin into their server, they really connect to you first...I don't know how WOW haldes it's loginserver / realmserver --> but there are emu server, so the code is obviously out there --> So...if the first thing you connect to is just a login server which tells you which gameserver to connec to...then you could just forward the data to the login server..the forward whatever it send you to the client and..the end. But, from what I've seen, the loginserver and gameserver are probably on the same computer atleast for most(?) private servers...I really don't know about Blizzard tho. Not sure exactly what you meant. Just an idea.
