Botting Questions?

Hey there wanna just get straight to the point, this is my first time ive ever considered botting so here it goes.
1) have YOU personally ever been banned, muted or in any way punished by blizzard for botting and why?
2) I got a level 80 rogue and wish to use the mod to farm eternal fires off the fire elementals, how would i do this and what are the odds of getting punished?
3) Wat's up?

I personally have not ever botted but I can make an educated guess.
1) Your chances of getting caught would depend on how random or repetative your bot is. If it has built in breaks or something of the sort.
2) A safer way to make money would be to work the AH. Once you get the hang of it, you can buy and resell while making an extreme profit.

Hey,
1) I have had 1 account banned in 2 years, during a banwave which targetted all the major bots. I've never been banned outside of a banwave cos i'm not a stupid botter and trust me it's really not hard to stay relatively safe.
2) If these are in storm peaks I would highly recommend not doing that as storm peaks is a place where a lot of people get banned. As long as the area is not populated (unlikely unless you found it yourself) then you're good.
