Trick to save some money from repairs while raiding.

Let's say you are an epic geared mortal strike warrior and your main tank just died, so it's a wipe. 1 death costs you like 5g, so in order to make it a tiny bit less, go buy a level 1 white dagger and when you know it's a wipe, just equip it instead of your 200 durability epic two-hander, thus saving 1g every wipe. If someone didn't know, yes, you can change weapons in combat. Of coruse this works for every class, like replacing an epic mage staff with a rusty dagger. This is not an exploit, just a convinient trick. If you are using 1h+offhand or shield, this works too.

common sence :P or you can just un-equip the weapon and have nothing there :P

Yeah, but I never see people doing this, at least in my raid, so I thought I'd share. This also works with wand/bow/gun

I used to unequip the things i could on a raid whipe while running and then die

You can't unequip or equip items in combat.


From what i've seen, only can in PvP.

You can with weapons, just not with armor.
