Well first of all, im a customer of glider, I am not using any cracks what so ever. I've been gliding before, but had a break, uninstalled it and just had my mind into some other things.
So, I downloaded the application at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (the official site, duh) also downloaded and installed Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 since it were required.
Then I was installing glider, where it asks me to select a glider name, so I did, just some random I would remember, then it installs the files, then ask me if I wanna create a shortcut (yes) and If I would like to run it now (yes) and THEN it says:
Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Access is denied.
So I press "Continue" and nothing happens. Then I go into my dir where its installed and run the execution of my Glider name which says:
Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to acces the item.
So I press "OK" and nothing happens.
I've tried this on my PC with Vista and on my PC with XP.
So if anyone had the same error; it's ur antivirus! Make sure you make an exception of the glider dir with your AV! If you cant, delete the shite (not recommended) and run glider with no errors...
Confirmed and worked with AVG..

Reason: just wanna explain the reason for the error.

EDIT: I've seen some posts with other people having trouble loading glider because of their antivirus. So what they did, was completely uninstall the AV and then run it without problems. BUT, to me, that seems so ridiculous. Must be some way to get through the antivirus. I got AVG plus some random protection programs. I am not gonna uninstall those for glider. Allthough, could try with my backup PC just to see if THATS the problem? I will report back, if so.
