This begins the first installment of "Ask a GM!"
Have a question for a senior WoW GM? Well, it just so happens that I talk to them just about every day.
Ask any questions you want, I will ask them, and I'll post the answer. Note, they may not respond to every question.
No racist/vulgar/unanswerable questions, please.
Pointless/non-WoW related questions ("What is your favorite movie?") are fine.
Also, these are US GMs.
I will be posting all questions and answers in the post below this one.

If you have multiple accounts with one payment info, IP whatever and one gets banned - Does Blizzard take action against another account? (I think I read somewhere that they wont but...)

Yay 1000th post | Cursed, that's something I can answer...it depends on what you did. If all the accounts have the same credit card, then yes, botting can easily result in all of them getting banned.
They won't ban by IP.
And, if you go and make another account with that credit card after being banned, you'll be fine, as long as you don't break any more rules.

Yes, of course it's possible. If you knowingly committed an offense (or someone else who you let on your account did), then read my guide and send an email saying you were hacked. If you were actually hacked, then just tell the truth.

He has an NPC and many items named after him, But they all Nat Pagle. They switched the first letter around, Anyways I was wondering if all WoW devs or GMs have npc and/or items named after them.
He also has items named after him in diablo 2

Ask them about their job or something. Don't ask about Blizzard policy, because chances are, I'm going to know the answer. The only things I won't know are things that GMs won't reveal.
Sylverin, I'd say don't bother. You broke a serious rule and were punished.

Tons of NPCs are named after devs and CMs. I doubt any are named after GMs...maybe a few senior GMs, perhaps.
This is kind of sad. I've had like 8 questions, and yet none of them involve me asking GMs.
Cmon guys! Ask a question that the GMs should answer, not me. |
