Ok ive heard of people doing this with there high lvl chars becvause they dont want to raid or what not but i wana know how it goes down and what not.

Probably between close friends etc. WoW accounts are so insecure, and so hard to get back, that letting anyone YOU DON'T KNOW into would most likely result in never getting your account back.

Ok i though u could just tell them the account name and credit card # and get it back if someone took the pass or just send the pass to ur email? am i wrong.
Im a pretty trust worthy guy but i was looking to use someone elses account but i wana make sure its secure befor i start asking people so i dont look like a scammer

If you find someone who will let you, good for you. But any smart person wouldn't do it. The process of getting accounts back from Blizzard is rediculous, and can take months - a year if you REALLY PUSH to get them back.

Did this on a DAoC account way back when and he was pretty happy after a few months lol

Yeah, their's honestly TONS of people who would jump on stealing your account if you gave them the oppritunity.

If you give someone just you user name and password they can't "steal" the account. You can always just recall the account using the SQA (Secrete Question Answer). The worse they can do is transfer your toon off the account to another account or delete all your gear and you can get that undone fairly easily. In order to get your account back in the case they change the UN/Pass all you have to do is give blizzard your SQA , Email, and phone. If you don't remember either your phone or email you have to call blizzard. If you don't remember your SQA, you are stupid for taking such a huge risk because if they do change the password you are kind of screwed. Getting back your SQA is a very annoying process that does take some time. If they were to transfer the toon you need to either call blizzard or email them and have them freeze the account till it is worked out. If all goes well, you should have the account back in around one or two weeks. That being said, I wouldn't let anyone do anything like that on my account unless I know them in real life or they have a lot of good reputation.
