What class should i go (my main got hacked)

OK my main just got hacked so now i gotta start over and make a new account but i dont know what class to go im looking for something thats well armored and has good meele and spells with a fair dps when i thought about it shamams fit that perfectly but i dont know how strong they are being a human so i was hoping someone with experience as a shaman could tell me if a shaman would be a good class to make my main for overall ownage (pvp,farming,end game pve,solo pve) and if a shaman isnt good can you tell me what other class would be good (good armor,meele,spells,and a fair dps) again im not a newb my main just got hacked so i dont really need a long definition of other classes except the shaman since ive fought then all many times. oh also id like to be accepted in raids but its not that important since i plan on getting pvp gear for dps (but im not sure if all pvp gear is dps im soo used to playing a paladin) so if someone could fill me in on that as well thatd be nice i realize i might be asking for alot and im sorry but i dont want to screw up on making a main

Edit* Sorry, energy drink. Forget all of that. Shamans are good, i'm leveling one right now. 1 windfury proc = Overkill and wanted in everything because of totems, healing, self rez, and great dps.

Shamans are overall my favorite class. They are very versatile.

Pros
Lets see they can heal when ever they want.
They get ghost wolf, second best to a mount.
They can put down totems like crazy to either help allies or hinder enemies.
Windfury has to be the best skill in the game.
Big damage with spells.
The best in PVP. (Atleast I play it all the time and never lose)
Team up with a Warlock and you have the best PVE team ever. Litterally

Cons
Exremly hard to grind.
Slow leveling when getting to 40-50 but after that goes fairly quick.
They lose mana very very quick.

toooooooo much writing. so i didnt read anything of what people wrote. basically, if you like being every other class' bitch, be a warrior. pallies are just ghey. just roll a shammy, its like being jesus. you can roll a pally too, if throwing up your bubble and healing all the goddamn time suits your playing style, that is. i saw melee and spell or something in ur post, so i just wrote down some notes about those classes.

but yea, shammy is ur best bet, i think at least. theyre pretty good.
