Blizzard Beta Downloaders - Mac/PC enUS/enGB! - 07-18-2008
DOWNLOAD THE BETA!

Mac Versions
enUS
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
enGB

PC Versions: (Apparently still point to the Alpha F&F, will post the PC ones when I find them. Mac ones work though. Use the other post for PC versions.)

Place the PlayWoW-WotLK.exe into your WoW folder if you have the expansion installed. Open. Download. The Blizzard servers currently don't have the game up fully yet (They do, just not some of them, at least for Macs. There were a few Blizzard IPs when I started downloading, they seem to be all done now.) since no one is getting their keys until Tomorrow/Monday. Anyone with a key can download from the Blizzard website however.

A friend of mine should be setting up a WotLK beta server this weekend, if he does, I'll get back to you on it.

I have a Mac, the mac one works perfectly for me. Brings up the Beta Downloader, with the whole splash screen that's going around everywhere.

I can't test the PC one, but if Blizzard is anything, they're predictable, and it should be the PC downloader.

I'm currently downloading "WotLK-Beta-3.0.1-enUS" sitting at 1.88 GB.

These are the Wraith of the Lich King 'Family and Friend' Test version cause they still got that F&F Aggrement. The links you posted arn't the beta ones.

how does this affect the alpha will it update the alpha or regular wow or will it create a new program altogether

When I run enGB downloader it says I need to install TBC -.-
I have originial WoW and TBC installed..
