oke first my story:
I have traded my rogue for a druid, but after playing a month on the druid I didnt like it and retrieved my rogue. We havent changed our emails, so if the owner of the druid has his secret answer he can get his account back to.
So I got my rogue back now, and the owner of the druid didnt get his account back.. I dont know why... but i got this email from him:

Hello

Due to the fact the password on the Rogue account has been changed/recalled i find it wise for you to explain.

you got two choices.. give me my druid back without me haveing to call up blizzard.. and we can see about just forgetting about the trade all in all.

or you can explain why the password has been changed/recalled and give the rogue back..

Now if you do only ignore this email/msn i will give you 2 days you got until monday to reply..

after monday i will 1. call up blizzard 2. take back my account 3. send all info/screens etc to blizzard regarding the tradeing of the rogue account (this means youre rogue account gets banned) maybe my druid gets banned to but i dont care to be honest.. so what is youre answer in all this?

so i suggest you reply to this email or msn with the password on the druid account and lets see if youre man enough to settle this the proper way.

i dont want to get any of our account banned but if you do not reply/explain i will.

Now my question is , will blizzard ban my account if he sends screenshots of the MSN conversation.

trading is illegal , he can't do anything , if he tells blizzard you 2 traded , you both will get banned , which he wont do.

That would be pure stupidity...He's better off calling blizzard and saying...I got hacked...Change info back.,..They'd ask for an ID (which he would have) and BAM...His account again

Yeah but I think the druid is an hacked account, and is not even his own.. cause we didnt change emails.. and if it was his account he would just use the secret answer...

No, first of all Blizzard does NOT accept "MSN Conversations" as legitimate evidence in any of their cases.

Second, in no way would Blizzard accept an attachment for something like that.

Use your head, why would a company like Blizzard use MSN evidence when they have IP logs of you both logging into each other's accounts?

On the slim chance that they DO read the MSN conversation, I highly doubt anyone would take the trouble to investigate further without there being an actual problem such as a ban against one of the accounts.

Oke thanks for your reply(the others to), this is what i thought myself. He is just trying to scare me.. so I would give the druid back. and well if I get banned, its a nice way to quit WoW

BUT...Before you do that, make a video of logging on and doing that...And leave the recording running until you get banned...Then mail him the video with a smiley face...

Yeah, tough situation, like Glovek said, Blizzard would never take MSN screen shots as a source of an account ban because they can easily get forged, i can to it with MSPAINT for god sake! But any way, its up to you, if you want to keep you rogue, give him the druid back, and forget it ever happened, or you can batten down the hatches and hope that my first statement is watertight.

ie. screw you over as you are trying to do to him ?.
