Is there any way to change my account so that I am able to transfer my friend's rogue to my account? My friend wants to give me his 70 rogue, but when he tried to do it an error message came up. I read into it and found this from the blizzard website:
Who is eligible for account-to-account transfers?
Transfers between accounts are only allowed between accounts where you are the subscriber. We do not support the transfer of characters between friends, guild mates, or family members. To conduct an account-to-account transfer, you will have to answer the 'secret question' for the destination account, and the last name on both accounts must match.
Anyone think I can still get the transfer to go through? Like calling blizzard up and persuading them to let me change my subscriber name? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Sorry Cloud, but as of now this is not possible. The reason is that u cannot change who the subscriber is registered to. There is only one possible way, which is death. This happened to my friend, who his uncle died, and his uncle played wow. He had to send a massive amount of legal documents that verified his uncles death, and eventually, to my knowledge, it worked. In otherwords, ur friend needs to be a close relative, and they must die, in order for you to be able to change the subscriber.

Yeh I think this is not possible besides blizzard won't allow this account to account transfer, they are more intelligent when it comes to this matter they think that they might lost a customer that wants to have a new account to be paid. Sorry for this.  |

If you got his cd key you can change his name and everything on the account and then transfer it. You dont need to kill your uncle  | |
