I ported to Emerald Dream and it seems like a lot has been worked on since the last patch

If you start in the verdant fields and head east, you will find some very large areas that are textured and a what apears to be finished mini map

There was nothing at all done to the Emerald Dream. Blizzard has already hinted that it will be its own expansion and that the one in the game files has been scrapped.

there a small zone in northrend with parts, especially the statue, of the emerald dream we all know. too lazy to make screenshots ^^

Emerald Dream will not be in Lich King in any significant fashion. It's an entire continent and will be its own expansion, there is ZERO CHANCE it will pop up in Lich King. I guarantee it.

That said, the stuff you think is new was probably already there and you just hadn't seen it before. Theres quite a few fully textured areas where the minimap works too. Simply put, even if Blizzard was working on it (which they might be, but not for WotLK) they wouldn't put the zone in with the LK files. After people made map viewers, private servers, etc. and got ahold of Emerald Dream, Developer Islands, Outland, Black Morass, etc. way before TBC was even announced, Blizz learned their lesson and now only upload data for zones as they are implementing them. I'm pretty sure whatever Emerald Dream stuff is in there is still just the remnants of what they had pre-TBC. I wonder why they just don't remove all those extra zones, actually.

Yes I have also heard that the Emerald Dream currently implenmented is trash. They want to make money off a huge project like that. But we will probaly never see anything more to Emerald Dream (the current one)

It's called " Emerald Dragonshrine".
There is other Shrines too in the same area tho... " Ruby " and something else that i can't remember =F

emeral dream is a GOLDMINE! its a financial dream and a designers wet dream
the lore is so vague they could pretty much put in a 4x4 as a mount and even the rp's wouldent be able to proove that it wasnt there lol
