I think Blizzard would just look up your IP address (in the database) and perma-ban your account. They've done it before.

Sooner someone gets it uploaded to a third party site the sooner I can start modifying an existing emulator core :P.

They can't complain that we're downloading the client, they have it up for download with no log in and no security to stop us. Therefore it is a free download and they have no leg to stand on when it comes to banning anyone who downloads it.

Anyone noticed Creep.dll that came with the WoTLK Client? I'm guessing (by the name) that it could be some sort of tracking library, perhaps logging those playing? I dunno, I'm probably just being paranoid. I couldn't get anything out of the disassemblers I used to analyze.
