Couldn't you use netstat (start -> run -> type "cmd" -> ok -> type "netstat" -> hit enter) to see where it connects to? While it's connected or trying to connect ofcourse.

gj, but this doesn't help, we need the basic client 3.0.1.8303 or earlier, dunno which one was the first.

while you are downloading patch file, you can look in connection info and this appears in your peers list.

BTW it looks like we have to find working .exe extractor ...

or... change the connection ti goes to to download the file. if we figure out the patch before 3.0.1.8303 then we can probably download it via the downlaoder.

Just extract the torrent from the downloader with WoWTorrentEx and open the .torrent file with wordpad.

It's possible to use the direct download function from the blizzard downloader with your Browser. For example:

hxxp://12.129.232.126/WoW-3.0.1.8303-to-3.0.1.8334-enUS-patch.exe/1

For Part 0 and 1. But i don't know how to find the alpha Client file.

Btw the F&F alpha base is 8303 (last internal alpha is 8301).

(from the patchlist server).

Dont know what it is but it works all the way to /431

but the file you download is nothing
