The fact is, if he really had it, all he'd have to do to prove himself is take one single screenshot and upload it. ANYONE should be able to see through his continued attempts to string us along; I'm uploading the files, now I'm cancelling the files, now I'm putting together a video.... I could understand if he didn't want to share the files/info anymore because of how he was treated, but if he really had the info he would still want to post a single screenshot, some proof, to stick it to the naysayers.
I'm not telling you what to think/believe, I'm merely pointing out why I believe he's lying, and why you should wait for some evidence, ANYTHING AT ALL, before throwing your rep away on him. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because he has a history here, and generally speaking it would be silly to waste your reputation on the board by claiming to have something you didn't. But I guess you don't have to worry about that if you just say "oh well I'm not going to share it now". Well duh, who didn't see that coming.
If I'm wrong? Show me a single screenshot. Roll a mage and show me a screenshot of the new talent trees, with your character /flexing on the screen. Or a female Death Knight on the player creation screen. Yeah, I won't hold my breath.  |

But like I said, if he was thinking he could just say he had it, collect some rep (or 5 minutes of fame) and then, when people inevitably got sick of waiting for him (thus all the delays) just say you're angry now and refuse to post it. No one can call you on it if you say you have it, but you're not sharing it.
So there's no real loss all up, since we can't prove he doesn't have it, he just played everyone for fools. The fact is, if he really had it, he could have posted a single screenshot on imageshack or something; no risk, and it would bury the naysayers. The fact that he hasn't says enough. I don't need to prove he doesn't have it, he should be the one proving to us that he does. You don't make a wild claim if you can't back it up with evidence. |
