blizzard selling gold would benefit them from having 500 million spammers in there servers and take them out of business.
my friend actually emailed blizz with the suggestion | Donate to remove ads, get your "DONATOR title, and get access to the MMOwned community's elite Shoutbawx.

you will tell me that "the rich ppl still buy from gold spammers" most of them don't, lots of ppl are scared of getting banned. |

Spammers will take them out of business?
Hardly.
If Blizzard sold gold, then the entire game would be ruined.
Rich people in real life get the best things.
Poor people get the worst. |

Poor people get the worst. | I've got to agree. Aside from the fact that this would never happen, you would just have a few rich people playing the game, everyone else quits because the value of gold drops drastically and they can't afford anything.
(How's that essay you said you would write coming?) |

Reputation: 9 | | | If this happened the prices of everything on AH would probably jump a big deal. Since a bunch of people would be rich now so people would post stuff more expensive for all the gold in the economy. Inflation sucks |

Reputation: 1 | | | if blizzard sold their own gold granted they would make a great deal more but it would also imbalance the WoW economy even more and may result in impossibly higher prices |

Reputation: 206 Level up: 94%, 66 Points needed | | | | Actually in my opinion it wouldnt stop gold sellers at all. It would mean Blizzard would set the standard price on gold and gold sellers who are able to undercut Blizzard's prices could still sell plenty "unofficial" gold instead. Spamming and advertising tactics would be completely unleashed at that point as blizzard would have not box to stand on with any kind of a future lawsuit. |

Reputation: 95 Level up: 60%, 450 Points needed | | | | I think people have a point...Blizzard would obviously make their gold prices high because the company is money hungry...
Goldsellers would just lower their prices and BLizzard would be SOL Again...
Also, How do you suppose that the gold Is delivered to the people who bought?
Through the mail system? In which Goldsellers could impersonate the BLizzard looking names...
And if they had GM's Do it, This would mean Those poor GM's Would have a non stop onslaught of spam the second their tag went down.. |
