They won't IP ban you, but they will ban the account that you had your offense on.

Not the most common thing, but it does happen.

As for 2, never tried, i wouldn't think so merely because obviously people would use it just for cheating in pvp... like you are... but i have no idea.

BTW: If you have the programs on the computer warden can still find you. It checks alot of things while you play WoW so you can still get caught...

Ok , so what about people who pay by pre-paid cards : ) Blizz does know IPs and IPs of accounts who have cheated in the past are logged so when a person gets banned for cheating and decides to open a new account , he or she will be flagged instantly just for using that logged IP .

Yes this is true , Blizz can and does IP ban , but they only do so in the case of repetitive racism or for pedophiles etc... So its rare when they do IP ban but its very common for them to IP log .

Blizz isnt dumb , they know that most people who cheat and get banned dont learn their lesson most of the time .

Real Answer:

Blizzard 9/10 cases won't IP ban you because they realize how addicted you really are. In most cases, a banned person will just start another account, or buy one and continue to be a patron.

If Blizzard sees you as a pest, they will eventually IP bann you because the 15 dollars isn't worth the annoyance, but it is rare. I'd say your second permaban for any reason will always result in an IP ban.

To the "Smarty" who said your IP changes constantly, that is a big no no my friend. There are really 4-5 different IP your computer has, while everyone serves a purpose, I think only 2/4-5 change, and that is still occasionally. There are a lot older and traditional internet providers which you can change your IP address, but it involves 10 minutes of work. If you have DSL, the only way you can get an IP change is if you change services, or find a good reason to have yours changed by calling your provider.

.....Blizzard honestly doesn't care where your IP is located. For all they care you could be at the White House. If they want to IP ban, they can IP ban.
