So, yes, we did get ontop of this so often is somehow became self explanatory how to get there... then sploosh 2.4 and normal method was gone, since then many have tried, some succeeded and none posted this easy to use method.
Guess you can see the little polygon-like editing I laid on the side of the statue? Wenn the little red spot shall attract your view a bit.
The Method:
Run into the statue as if it was a wall - looks irritating doesn't it?
Spam the jump-key fast - about 5-8 times a second.
slowly turn your camera center and thus your run-direction towards the red spot - still run into the statue and spam 'jump'.
Once you reach the very edge of turnability - where you'd run off the podest - your character should now jump up the tsatue and sstand ontop of it - or if you have experienced some major cramping of your jump-press-finger - jump right over it and fall down the back of it.
Oh and yes, this seems NOT to be a repost unless one of the 6 pages of posts having stormwind in their text body somewhere but were related to ogrimmar and stuff had this in it. those with stormwind stuff did not.
