This glitch has been kept under lock and key for quite some time now. It shall remain that way, but the number of people that know about will increase from a few dozen to a few hundred. A glitch so seemingly coincidental that it at first seemed impossible to replicate. But now we know how truly easy it is to do.
Notice that all the following pictures were done on a live 3.0.9 server and it still works but is different due to the removal of flypaper.

The shots taken from mid air was from a priest using mind vision. The actual shot would have him running around in Eastern Kingdom.
Since this glitch is so massive, we are of course trying to keep it a secret to how it works. Thus I will only tell those who PM me. And a fraction of that.
I know I hate to get your hopes up and then crush them but participate in "The Return", hosted by the Order of the Hidden Eye, and you shall know the greatest exploit for exploration ever.

This looks like it is a fake, sorry to say. seems like you renamed some map/terrain files if anything. you are clearly IN dragonblight most of these times, especially the flying in barrens and such. pretty cool but it sounds like an exploit, and i doubt it works on retail.

I'm glad you have your guildies posting here, but this isn't as amazing as you make it out to be.
Old method was something like, take some sort of port/zone/instance/summon, w/e something that gives you a load screen.
Mid-load screen disconnect yourself somehow, like pull out your Ethernet cord. If you got lucky the server will think you're in the area you were supposed to end up, and load those mobs/players. But your client will show objects/terrain of your old area.
If you found a easily repeatable method...grats.

Go to the Undercity to Howling Fjord zeppelin and take it north. Once you get there mount up on a flyer go up just barely off the ground and use this macro.

/say DISCONNECT RISK: TRUE.
It will DC you. Once you get DC'ed, log back in. Repeat until it works. (You will know when it works)
Glitch works on any boat zeppelin and is not fully tested on portals.

Yeah, would you care to elaborate? Do we DC ourselves when we're about to cross over into UC again or what?
The way you explained isn't working for me. Do we wait at all before we log back on? Any special time that we DC ourselves?
Take the zeppelin to Fjord and mount up, the point is to keep on disconnection as many times as possible before you hit the "Deadline point". This is when you log back in and you can see the name of the zone your character is in.
So Let's recap again.
From UC head to HF. Stay in HF on a flying mount in mid air and disconnect. Keep on doing it as many times as you can. For as long as you see nothing under your characters name it has a chance to work. It wont always work and if you hit the "Deadline Point" you have to leave back to UC and fly over to HF again.
The result of this particular glitch is you are flying high above the DK zone and have the limitations as if you were in Northrend (I.E. Fatigue, flying roof)
When you disconnect, you will either fall to the ground, or fall below the ground. So feel free to fly high up and bring some slow fall.
