Dunno if someone ever found this before, sorry if this is old, but I was running away from horde when in excedent I used rocket boots off the cliff and noticed this, and thought it would be nice for an afk spot Dont know if this doesnt work without rocket boots, didnt try.. but I guess not

This does not work. I would suggest using rocket boots off the top or bottom, due to the fact that despite your attempts to do this, unless you are off the map BEFORE YOU DIE, it will be client side. I have tested this extensively, and even after you die, your marker on your map will still continue to move, despite the fact that server side, you have stopped moving. So until the video shows the people OFF THE MAP BEFORE HE DIES, then it is client sided.
