So I was fishing in a pool in Barrens, when my internet dropped, and i got disconnected. When I logged back, I was in Arathi Highlands, i falled down from sky, and my Find Fish was still activated. On the minimap it was a School of Deviate Fish, but it wasn't any water around there, so i tought something is wrong, i logged out, and then logged back in at the char page i saw now that my char is in Barrens. Then when i was logged in with the char i found my self swimming under texture... then i swimmed a bit and falled down and died... this was really weird.

This is a well known bug. It's just odd pathing. There's a few other areas which take you to other places.

it's a simple bug: your client loads the wrong continent and ends up in some weird places.
Here is another example: stv to un'goro (actually: the ocean^^)

This happens to me a LOT! Last time it happened, I was about to summon our last party member to SM to go armoury, I disconnected and when I logged back in I was under Ashenvale, but I could see my party members, people around me but above me, while I was IN Ashenvale. I logged out and logged back in and I was falling, sometimes I have to ticket a GM but other times the server fids the problem and disconnects me itself, then when I relog, I am back with my party at the meeting stone

Guess I'm not the only one, this happened to me once in STV, went through the zepp after bugging around on it and wound up in the sea south of silithus with STV mobs above me, swam north, ended porting out o.O

Something similar happened to me where i logged in and me and all the NPC's were falling :S freaked me out :P

haha ths shit happened to me too.. I was stuck under STV in BB... bt the map said I was south of un goro.. I could not move, and couldnt logout cuz I was stuck moving or something.. Anyways, I asked a passerby to duel me and I charged him and intercepted him and that slowly moved me up to the surface. I asked him to go on a ledge and my character glitch and was floating in the air at his level... so I was stuck running above the floor like 20 feet until a G helped me like 10-15 minutes later...

This happend to me aswell, alot. There's a fix for it if you keep falling when tried relogging. You right click on the WoW.exe, then press Property then at Goal: type in : " -nosound" (without the "" ofc.) after the long pathname, then Accept and save changes. Wow needs to be off, and if you can't get off wow by logging out, just ALT+F4 and enter the text after that. And startup wow again You should be back at place again, then logout normaly off wow and remove the -nosound
