hey, before anyone flames me. im sure someone has seen this place before...

But i found my OWN way up there, no wall jumping, in patch 2.4.2

as for the way up, maybe PM me and i can show you or explain it, theres only one 'difficult' part which is easily solved with a few things. (ank, soulstone, revived, slowfall, noggenfogger, etc)

this place is HUGE and ive still yet to look at one whole side of it. my current mission is to get on the other side of the castle. guarded by many invisible walls and mountains.

As for flying mounts here? YES YOU CAN!!!
i saw the thread about how to do it, but no one could name an 'unknown' zone to do it in. WELL THIS IS ONE!

il get some screenshots of it another day, and im thinking MAYBE with this artificial lag people are talking about, MAYBEEEEE you can use that to fly to orgrimmar? then turn the lag off and get dismounted on something AWESOME?

Why do you have Demon Armor on your bars? At all?

yes, i have PERSONALLY used a flying mount here. it requires 3 people (1 being a warlock) for this to work though. using a small bit of thinking, there is a way for ALL 3 of you to be flying at once here, if u have ever played a warlock, u should know how to do it.

90% of this place u can fly in, there is a 2 little bits near the castle (will get screenshot of castle another day) where it thinks your in "silithus" and you get dismounted. if you avoid those places, your fine.


as for how to get there, i wont post that just yet.

I don't think you can use a flying mount here as the whole zone is stated as Silithus. You can see it in his pictures, too and I remember getting Silithus everywhere down there.

As for the path, I posted a video of it some weeks ago but the thread seems to be lost somehow. Already PMed an admin for it. But I can still link the video:

LOL martin. yea i remember seeing that video on here. problem is, that doesnt even take you to my location. nor is it close to the way i took.

I swear, i have discovered a way in, that even a level one can get up and explore, but requires either:

Soulstone + 100% mount
Ahnk + 100% mount
engineer rocket boots
Slowfall (no mount)
Noggenfogger (slowfall buff, no mount)
Summon (3 other people must make it there first)
Revive + 100% mount (someone else who made the jump, reviving you)
Parachute cloak
100% mount + iceblock
100% mount + pally bubble
MAYBE sprint? (ive never played rogue)
MAYBE 60% mount and blink? although you should have slowfall.

there could be other methods aswell.

all the methods i listed, is to get over ONE jump. otherwise a level one can do it all.

What you saw were what remains of pre-AQ patch southern silithus, when the place was planed to be like jinlathor (high lvl outside raid area). Taht was later scraped and some areas where reused like Ossirian fight and the main temple building. You can check it out today by reinstaling WoW and using a mapviewer.

of course it doesn't make sense to you, your a ****ing rogue. and if you play a warlock as well, I'm surprised you didn't understand it. I will spell it out for you.

when a warlock summons multiple people, all of them can accept it within 2 minutes. summoning someone else does not remove the first persons summon.

so, using the 3 people. summon yourself, and each of them. when all 3 of you see the "accept" window come up, jump through a portal to Shattrah or hearth to Shattrah. Once your there, all 3 of you mount up, then accept the summon back to the "unknown" area.

Now your on your flying mount! press jump, and away you go!

basically thats it big whole in the middle, cliffs and pits. you cant just mount up here and i didn't test out the summoning trick yet so there you go.

oh yea, as far as i know, you cant get into the AQ instance city. Atleast you cant from where the OP posted im currently trying to find out how

nice, tbh ive never been near the way that martin's video shows, but if it manages to link up somehow, i congrats him.

i might go download a gamecam and try record it for you guys, the way is COMPLETELY different, and requires no skill at ALL to get where muffinman's screenshot is taken (level ones can do it)

any suggestions of a recorder/editer to use? also, if i can find some people willing to come, il show the flying mount trick aswell.

did you manage to find your way from here to the back of the AQ20 instance portal?
was down here last week running amok
there is a way to get there by climbing up southern tanaris mountains just to the east of uldum and running all the way across southern un'goro to silithus which is a nice open run with some quality abyss off each side
