I know there is currently a thread that mentions about using the steam tonk for uninterupptable casts and someon mentioned about getting 2 pyro blasts of in 2 secs after the stun.

Well I have 2 things to add to the steam tonk trick.


1/ As for Pyro blast we tested this last night and don't make the macro.....
Just put the steam tonk in your tool bar and put pyroblast in a slot other than your main bar, as usually when you hit steamtonk it will switch your main bar sometimes to the steamtonks attacks.

Now hit the steam tonk and then hit your pyroblast spell. While stunned mash pyro blast. Not only did we get 2 off in the space of 2 secs after the stun, but he continued to cast the next 7 of them at around 2-2.5 sec casts non stop mashing. He was Slaughtering people in duels and everyone is out the front of IF was going WTF????????

2/ Another trick is similar to this but for warlocks with Soulfire.
Soulfire has a 1 min cooldown on it. BUT not with the steamtonk.
Hit the steamtonk in your toolbar then mash Soulfire, You will cast 2 soulfires and negate the 1 min cool down on the first cast. 2 Soulfires for the 1 CD. And yes it DOES use 2 soul stones.
I was hitting my dps trinket and dropping a destro pot and those 2 soulfires 2 shotted my mate.

Just a note: What we did notice through alot of testing tonight is that the repeated half cast duration that we got on Pyro (7 times non stop) only worked on spells that were greater than 2.5sec casts. Anything like fireball and shadow bolt we saw really no repeatable diffirence after the intial extra cast after stun as mentioned in another thread.
And as I mentioned we could get 2 Soulfires off and bypass the first 1 min CD. Just remember your casts are still subject to rules.. like actual Spell CDs and in and out of combat rules.
We are still testing this alot so I will post more as we find out more....

You can also trinket out of the stun, thats what ive been doing to cast double healing touches, w/a ns ht, thats 3=). But one time i was able to get 4 somehow. Gonna try it some more.

BUT you have to be out of combat when you startthe teleport macro. In combat you would need to use hearthstone.

As I said befor in and out of combat rules still apply.

i was the one who originally posted this exploit, and i posted it in the contributor's section for a reason - so that people wouldn't go out and repost it for the world to see.

i'm glad to see that you've found more uses for this trick. however, now that you're posting it in the general exploits section, it will certainly be hotfixed.

i guess a nerf was inevitable. i just though that i would prolong it for a while.

perhaps my next exploits i'll keep to myself

Nice for mages. 1.Tonk -> 2. Pyroblast -> 3. just when stun is off, spam Fireball and you got 1½ sec casts. if you can change target fast enough and you dont have to move you keep firing 1½ sec bolts till you go oom. ^^

Idd. This was a great exploit, and I'm goddamn mad that this will be hotfixed. And yes, TREYSKA is the original founder who should be repped for it.
