I play atm 2v2 1900 rating with a warrior/restro-druid we often have problems in lordaeron.


And that the way to avoid the arena that you disslike:

1. download/install DBM [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

2. queue up for an arena match

3. wait until the join buttom appears and press "hide"

4. dbm pops up and you see which arena is incoming


5. if you dont like that arena wait 1 minute, dont join and you loose no points; if you like the arena rightclick onto the symbol on the minimap and press join arena

That's correct, alternatively for PvP-ers only (that don't need DBM because it got many other features you perhaps would like to not install to save RAM) then do this:

Default chatframe message:

... but thought you lost rating, perhaps only if you join then leave.

He is correct in saying that if no one on the team joins, points will not be lost... However, if someone happens to join by mistake, or just habit, or for what ever reason, and you leave the queue.... Wow are you screwed.. lol This is those times that it is 2v1 in arena or 3v2-1...

For all who don't realize the usefulness of this, if you want to win-trade points, you can leave the queue if your farm team doesnt get into the same match as you without any penalty.

You lose if you leave the queue when it's too close to the match (they enter, you don't)

Ya as far as I know if the arena pops and you leave queue then you lose points. If you leave queue before it pops you don't lose points.

lol that doesnt matter, if no one takes the Queue, it just thinks you're afk and the other team gets a free win since on their screen it's 0 players on other team that have entered. It still tally's it as a loss in the records since you basically forfeit.

You do NOT lose rating. I have confirmed this myself a while back.

If non of your team mates join, the game will end in a Draw!

It's true, you do NOT lose rating if none of your teammates join. Used to be nice not even having to play to swap wins, but they fixed this in 2.3, I think.
