I don't believe this has been posted yet, I did a quick search but wasn't able to come up with anything.
I got this idea when I was reading the PTR notes. Apparently, you're able to switch in a Tier 5 or Tier 6 token to get a piece of your class's Season 2 PVP set. Now, this may not seem significant at first, but consider this.
Try spending a Tier 5 token on a piece of Season 2 gear and then petitioning a Game Master to help you. Report you accidently spent a Tier Six token in order to get the item. If you get lucky, you might just get a free upgrade. If you don't, just claim ignorance and get your Tier 5 token back for no real risk.
Here's hoping it works for someone once 2.4 hits live. |

The ones from Sunwell swap for the Vindicator's honor gear, however. |

Reputation: 7 | | | You cannot swap any tier 5 or 6 into S3 (tier) gear. Only Sunwell T6 into Vindicator's gear (boot/bracer/belt). Rest of the S3 items cant be changed into, except for arena points. |

Incorrect, T5 tokens = S2 Gear
T6 tokens = S3 gear |

Just because you're scamming a GM instead of another player doesn't make it any less of a scam. (Also, any GM that has the ability to do item restores is going to check your item transaction log first thing and see that you're full of shit and trying to get free gear.)
Maybe you guys should start posting these in the scam forum where they belong. |

GM's can retreive a record of items you have had with a considerable amount of time (history)
Blizzard keeps an record of your account. they can easily go into your record of what items you have / have had in the past and what you have done with them. your idea of trying to "trick" a GM to give u t6 from a t5 token that u spent on a pvp peice, will not work.
further more,
last year i sold my nat pagels fishing pole that gave +25 fishing, to a vendor.
last month i got my fishing up and realized i couldnt do the quest to get it. i signed in a ticket and without even giving the name of the fishing pole they pulled it up on record and gave the the choice if i wanted to use one of my item restores to get it back |

Whilst i agree this is a BS scam and will most likley end in your banning i have to say that zimmyt is full of something brown & smelly since i know for a fact blizzard will NOT return items that were destroyed or vendored more than 4 week prior to the ticket.
