*SEMI REPOST*
Well as many of you know, the birds are VERY annoying around Skettis
and after doing constant dailies here, ive concuted a few ways to avoid them:
1. Fly low, preferably above the lake to avoid the npcs but on land is just as good, they don't fly as low
2. Fly high, they are around the trees, if you want to get to a specific place quickly, fly above the action, they don't fly high and you have a better view of the area
3. Get them stuck on evade! By landing on one part of the circular platforms, running round to another part then fly off, they will follow but you have a bit of space between you and the bird
4. The good old spacebar trick, Whilst flying at roughly horizon level, hold down spacebar and they somehow won't be able to attack you, however if you aim and fly directly up they will be able to
5. Fly above water, if you are unlucky enough to get hit by the birds or aggro them, they may daze you, and dismount, for a pally like me i have no trouble bubbling, but the repair bills could get costly for some if they fall and die, so landing in water is your safest bet, even if you do aggro a few surgers.
As I said, this is a repost, but afaik the other posts are v. old and people still do these quests, also the flying tips can help out
