Obviously every melee wants to be in the "melee group". Mostly this means access to a windfury totem. Of course, there aren't enough shaman for every melee to have a windfury totem all the time..... Or are there?
You may be familiar with a concept called "Totem" twisting, by which a shaman trades same-element totems and through proper drop and recall timing, the melee get the effects of BOTH totems simultaneously.
This is similar, but a bit different from Totem Twisting. The way this works its that every 8 seconds you swap two people back and forth between the melee group and the "off" group. If done with the proper rythem, both players will have windfury the WHOLE time.
It takes some micromanagement, but can give you an extra boost of DPS if you don't have enough shaman to run 2 windfury groups. Enjoy!

Note me: the half AFK paladin in group 2. I am constantly swapping myself with Enst, a warrior in Group 5. We both carry the windfury buff about 90% of the time, the other 10% at least one of us has it. Note the groups on the left, and my WF buff in the upper right.
Raid: Get Windfury when not in Windfury Group
