You buy love tokens from any innkeeper. You also have to buy colone to get a gift from the female guards, or perfume to get gift from the females. Just apply the colone/perfume and walk around a capital city until you see an npc with a big <3 heart over their heads. You can't miss it.

No, there is no buff. When two people or more click the table, you will have cute hearts over your heads and you will randomly laugh, eat, and chat. Very fun in my opinion. The only reason to farm for this is for the looks, but that's more than good enough reason for me!

The Valentine's Event is from Feb 10 - 15

I believe you have to purchase perfume or cologne and love tokens from the innkeepers in major cities.
Depending on which scent you have on you can present tokens to the guards.
They'll either accept you and give you gift of friendship (citizens) or Pledge of friendship from the guards which you can mail to your main if you don't open it.

I didn't know you could get a picnic basket off this because I've never seen it drop for me.. =o( but Thanks for the tip! Maybe I can turn my luck around this year! =o)

So I cycled through all my alts and sent theirs to my main before i started opening them.. the first one I opened had it.. =oX
I'm gonna forward all the unopened ones to my 'main' alt. haha

On another note.. I noticed that my alt in Silvermoon couldn't find the goods from the Inkeeper... nor were there any hearts floating around.. I don't think Silvermoon or any of the new major cities participates?

Ive got two picnics so far doing 2 accounts and like 4-5 chars on each about 4 rotaions so far. The black dress is more rare than the table, but the pet is the big one, its really rare to get and its what im farming for.
