Yesterday I fell off a cliff in Shatt and I became a spirit of redemption, it was late and I didn't want to run back, so I logged off (instant log off because I was in a main city).
When I logged back in I was alive, right where I had landed.


So from what I see this will work in any main city, and maybe from disconnects.

Anyways, I have never seen this posted before, if it has sorry, I just wanted to put this out there...

I just wanted to add that I've only tried this once, so it may only work after 5 mins, like the "log out in av and log back in to leave the game without deserter" trick,

or maybe even as long as instance soft resets.

I'll try experimenting with it and see, I personally left it over night.

My guess is that it takes as long as the spirit of redemption lasts (IE you have that much time to log off)

When you get the buff, you are technically still alive just in another form which kills you after X seconds. I guess logging off instantly resets it and brings you back Nice find

No it wouldnt the only bracket it would be feasible is around 1500 in the 5vs5.

You would have to alt F4 and we dont know if this would work - Only in cities remember

And there would be a 25sec+ time to complete this and that is too long..

Also this is a deep holy talent and not one that gives SoR and you cant be Holy in arenas only Disc/Holy.

And downing a Healer in arena your whole team is dead in the 25secs or atleast alot

So your going to loose when you get back

No this wouldnt be OP in arenas, the main use is if you fall off somewhere in a city

It can't work in arenas because you get kicked out of an arena if you get disconnected or log out.

I was trying to think of a way this could save a raid...but honestly I don't see it being useful outside of a city.

Has anyone tried having a secone client and logging in with it as soon as you die?
