[KZ Bug] The Curator

Okay, first off, I am NOT 100% sure this is how or why he bugged like this, but it's the best theory I have and makes some sense if thought about in this way, anyways let me begin...

The last Curator fight my guild had, everything was going okay, except we had one of the trash mobs(The voidwalker looking guys) bugged on a pillar, he evaded so we couldn't kill him, and he wouldn't un-bug. So we just said, the hell with him, and tanked the Curator away from them.

Well, someone walked too close to them, and they aggroed, but were still evade locked. HOWEVER, The Curator began acting very very weird, the tank(me) lost aggro almost instantly to a mage who was soaking up his arcane damage(I was well over 10k threat over the mage), he didn't stay on the mage long before changing targets yet again...

After having him swap targets, basically ignoring aggro(The offtank seemed to pick up aggro after just 1 or 2 sunders, and I picked it up anytime I used a judgement or avenger's shield) we noticed that his mana was going down as if he was summoning sparks, except none were spawning, he DID NOT evocate at all, when his mana hit 0%, it stayed there for a moment, then jumped to 50%, and proceeded to go down as if he was summoning sparks.

So, in conclusion, we actually got him to 48% like this, without a tank, with him randomly attacking people, and found that it was(in a way) easier, though when he enraged he'd surly 1-shot any non-tanks.


It's not really useful, and it requires the bad luck of a mob being trapped on a wall. So if you're still runnin' KZ, and a mob happens to be stuck on the wall, make sure NO ONE gets near it, as these mobs apparently have some way of making The Curator attack random targets(as I assume they do with the mana wyrms pulled with them).


Sadly, no screenshots as I was the main-tank and was kinda busy trying to get him off the DPS, and they weren't my prime concern.

If people demand screenshots of where the bugged mobs were, I can emulate it on a private server(as it'd be impossible to recreate bugged spawns on live.)

Ya curator bugged in my last run too. We had a group of mana wyrms bugged on the wall and he evocated and then just stopped and then made 1 spark evo'd again and then got stuck at 3882 mana so he did not have enough mana to summon any sparks and he then it was just tank and spank

ya happened to us two weeks ago.

We just had everyone run down the right side and tanked curator in the doorway so we didnt have any issues with the bugged mobs.

same.. tried that bug.. we walljumped up and killed the mobs. Curator fight is easier without that bug :P

I had him reset on 20% once so we could retry him and he would go evocation uber fast That was awesome

Yes, every time you see on of the packs stuck in the pillar, The Curator will evade for about 1 second like every 10th second.
Every time he evades, he resets all aggro, removes all dots / debuffs on himself.

And when he goes out of mana, he goes evocation which usualy ends really fast. If the evocation has given him enough mana for new adds. He'll summon 1-2 and do another evocation and so on.
Or if he didn't get enough mana to summon more adds the first time. You won't meet any more adds during the game

huh? i had this 2 with my guild ( we normally wipe on him ) and we used the bug, killed the bugged mob and than tank and spank fight all the way!
