Reputation: 24 Level up: 96%, 24 Points needed | | | | Send Items to other side with out risk of losing it. Hi this is my first time posting on MMOWNED so this is what Im going to bring to the table.
Some people might know this already but here I go
Say your on the horde side and you wanted to send a really good item to your alliance alt but your to afraid to put it in the neutral AH for 1c because you think that some one is going to get it.
Well heres a way to fix it. So your on your horde main, go all the way to a neutral AH like the one in Booty Bay, log off there and go on your alli alt. go kill something like a boar untill a useless grey drops, run all the way to the Booty Bay AH and put the item in for the desired amount of gold, so Ill just put it in for 300g.
no ones going to buy this so once the auction is made, log out and go on to your main. open up the AH and buy the item that your alli put in so he gets the gold. then make a new auction and put the item in that you want to transfer.
log off to your alli alt, buy the item and then boom! you have the good item and your main has all the gold back, everyone wins.
I hope this guide helps you guys out there! Some people might say its common sense but Im just trying to lend a helping hand. | Donate to remove ads, get your "DONATOR title, and get access to the MMOwned community's elite Shoutbawx.

Seems like an awful wast of money for me. I usally have my friend on ventrillo with me and tell her the name of the item. count from 3 to 1 and put it up for 1 copper. Easy to do when you have people talking to each other. Just get some one you can trust. |

You need some one from another account to even be able to see the action let alone buy it. Blizzard made it this way to try and prevent people trasfering goods around. So nice try on the topic, but this really doesnt work. |

Unless you overprice it dramatically so no one else would buy, i don't see the point of going through this long process. Especially because the AH takes an hour now for you to even get the gold from your purchases.
I'm assuming you're on a PvE server (pve is for *****'s) but i strictly play PvP and use 2 accounts for xfering items back and forth. mainly items off the horde AH that i want for my ally main. But i just dual box and make the exchange in Booty Bay. Risk time is like 3 seconds for the alt tab. Maybe move this to the guide's section if anything. Not an exploit. |

Reputation: 14 | | | It works but to give you an example, I had to transfer 250 gold from Alli to horse to get the 210g needed to buy an 8 of furies.
Thats like a 40g cut.
I use the "2 accounts" method and it works best, but put the item up for about 10g because a lot of people have BTM scan and autclickers on to pick low priced green, blue and epic items up and buy them out almost instantly. |

Reputation: 37 Level up: 68%, 229 Points needed | | | | The two accounts method works best. And yes, the home faction AH (Horde / Alliance) is 5%, and the neutral is 15% (Damn goblins!) | |
