Guys, if you are really worried about losing your characters , then if you still have 2 or more restorations left, then go to another PvP server and try it out, if it doesnt work then ou really had nothing to lose except 1 restoration use.

what if you delete your character, have a friend make another with that same name, ask for a restoration of your original character, have them tell you the name exists now, would they allow you to pick a new name?

mm just tried it and no id didn't work. my characters are on a european pvp server.

they told me to delete the opposing faction characters and recontact them again with the correct side...

no no !! It worked !! My mistake was to make all the horde characters i would like to level on same server. i did 7 characters!
then on last try i did a shadowpriest and a horde character i did not want to lvl and contacted GM with that character. by night they restored them (all alliance characters) and they left the 2 horde on the same server !!

Yep, this works on EU realms.
Because it worked for me.
on my 61 horde wl is now a 7 gnome warrior.

i tried it today at my friends acc, but we failed, because gm said no 2 factions on pvp realm. i think this is when its easy to see that you deleted chars and made some new quickly after doing this.

With the use of neutral AH.


Say large prismatic shards are 20G each at Ally AH, while they're 35G at horde AH. Now, I don't know the Neutral AH fee, but if it's like couple of golds, that's A LOT of money if you do it a lot; it's a fantastic trick!



PS: I got 2 chars, a bank and a main, if I delete those 2, does that use 2 restorations? (got BoE bags used at bank and don't wanna waste...)

It was posted before, but with only 1 Horde character. (At that time, the Gms had been dumb enough not to delete the Hordechar, sometimes). I tried it with 1 horde char, but the GM recognized I tried to fool him. BUT The chances should be a lot bigger with 2 horde chars.
